July 2002. It has only been since that time that cameras must adhere to certain
criteria (click here for the Partnership's
site selection criteria). Any cameras installed before July 2002 would
not have been based on the Partnership criteria but by the road safety criteria
of the local highway authorities and are still in place due to their contribution
to the reduction in death and injuries on our roads.
